The Westchester Bluegrass Club is thrilled to present an extraordinary evening of music featuring Michael Daves and Nate Sabat—two of the most innovative and compelling voices in modern bluegrass.
Michael Daves, a Grammy-nominated artist, is known for his electrifying guitar playing, high-lonesome vocals, and boundary-pushing approach to bluegrass. Raised in Georgia and now a cornerstone of New York City’s roots music scene, Michael has collaborated with legends like Chris Thile, Steve Martin, and Tony Trischka. His album Sleep With One Eye Open (with Thile) was Grammy-nominated, and Orchids and Violence showcased his genius in blending traditional and experimental bluegrass. With over 25 years of teaching experience, he’s not only a performer but also a mentor to the next generation of musicians.
